I had met the inventor of MetaFlex years ago and she gave me a prototype set of gloves to try and to provide her feedback.
I wore out the original ones because I wore them daily for years. She had mentioned wanting to work the VA also. I reached out to my VA provider, they ordered me a set, and within 2 weeks they arrived in the mail! So happy to have them again.

The gloves work somewhat. The finger area crumples along w the material at the knuckles. I have a suggestion. Pad the fingers and knuckles.

I painted this fireplace yesterday and my hands were cramping so bad afterwards! I put on my @metaflexglove right after and my hands are feeling so much better today. 10/10 recommend to anyone using their hands a lot. Artists, chefs, makers, etc this is seriously a great tool or gift for maintaining hand + grip strength 🤍

I am currently trialing the glove with an adolescent patient with cerebral palsy. She has reported that the glove is comfortable to wear and is less stigmatizing than a more rigid splint. Our only difficulty has been that she requires assistance to don the glove appropriately due to limited active movement of her fingers. So far, we are really enjoying it.
