MetaFlex® Pro

These gloves are awesome. They’re a little bit hard for me to put on with my left hand as it is right now but once I have it on, it allows me to grasp things that I would not be able to grasp without it. It’s made my recovery so much easier to deal with thank you very much.

It's a good concept but too light duty. There needs to be a stronger adjustment system as the velcro easily slips. I would consider extending the adjustment straps so that they are closer to the nail beds. What I am experiencing is the fingers of the glove rotate and subsequently the straps don't straighten the fingers as well as they could be. I find the straps start pulling just in front of the middle joint/knuckle. I can get the glove on with little trouble, the elasticity of the glove allows me to manipulate my fingers to get into the glove properly and it breathes well. The size of the glove is a good fit for my hand. Any smaller and it would be too tight and uncomfortable, any bigger and it would be ineffective. Overall, it's a great concept and a great start... just needs a little tweaking. Please keep me posted as you update the glove. I'd be happy to be a test subject! I'm almost 15 years post stroke and this is by far the best tool to help me navigate having a closed hand. Very pleased with this!

I had very high hopes that this would help but honestly I found the completely ineffective. The wrist strap just isn't strong enough to make the finger straps do anything; they bunch up towards my knuckles and thus do not stretch my fingers at all. I have checked and rechecked the sizing and it is the correct size based on the instructions provided. Also the middle finger has a hole in it making it more useless. I have had them for almost 2 weeks.

The glove is nice but Velcro could be longer to the meta flex Logo on top of wrist to get fingers more straight

Originally got these for my mom to help with her grip strength. She claimed that the gloves made her hands feel numb after a short while wearing them. I've decided to give them a try myself, so the following day I wore them for a bit and noticed the the inseams around the fingers were also causing my hands to feel numb, but aside from that I also began to notice some threads coming undone and seams starting to split. I've only just got the gloves in the mail the day prior and it was already falling apart when barely worn. I like the idea and i feel it could really help, but these could definitely use some improvements.

After my mom had her stroke she was experiencing pain in her hand every morning she woke up. I found this on instagram and bought it to see if it was what it said it would do. Now she wakes up in less pain and her stroke hand has reduced in swelling and pain. WORTH THE EXPENSE!

I really wanted these to work but the fit is odd and the inside seams are very painful. I ordered an xs, I can’t imagine going a size up because it’s actually baggy around my palm.The finger lengths seem inconsistent, the left thumb is sewn shorter than the right for example. When I pull back the finger straps it scrunches the glove up, so while it does help my fingers stay uncurled (which does provide relief for my fingers) it doesn’t offer much in terms of compression.

My biggest complaint has to be the inside seams on the tip of the fingers. They press right under my fingernails and becomes very uncomfortable rather quickly. This doesn’t happen when I don’t pull back the Velcro but that defeats the purpose of the glove. Using them to work on my grip strength is very painful because the seams just dig in deeper and I can feel my fingertips pulsate. Unsure if sleeping with them will be possible for me.

The grip support on the inside doesn’t seem very helpful either. Things slide out of my hand very easily. While I appreciate that this product is on the market, I think it may need another iteration because I cannot agree that it is comfortable. Right glove is a lot more tolerable but I can’t handle the fit of the left especially on my thumb and ring finger where it digs in the most.

This glove helps with my pain and my tightness in my hand. It’s the first time in 20 years since my tbi that the pain is almost gone. Thank you so much for this.

I've ordered 2 right handed gloves and a left handed glove and these were separate orders now I have 3 left handed gloves

I painted this fireplace yesterday and my hands were cramping so bad afterwards! I put on my @metaflexglove right after and my hands are feeling so much better today. 10/10 recommend to anyone using their hands a lot. Artists, chefs, makers, etc this is seriously a great tool or gift for maintaining hand + grip strength 🤍

I have MS, and my right leg and right hand are severely affected, with my RH typically resting in the MS "claw hand" shape, like a dead bug. I have tried numerous concepts to try and get it to stretch out, but all were either ineffective or very inconvenient. PT therapy has helped a lot over the years, but my MetaFlex glove has made a difference in JUST THREE DAYS. Having had this condition for over 15 years, this is HUGE. The bands are quite effective; within 30 minutes of first putting it on, the tendons on the front of my fingers started to complain, and I had to back off on the tension! I can now wear my glove overnight as well as for several hours during the day. I see great things ahead for my RH mobility and can't wait to see where things go from here!

My recommendation for new customers: these gloves run LARGE. For the first time in my life, an XL glove was too big. If you are undecided on size, try the smaller of the two choices first.

One design improvement I would make: the back of the glove tends to collapse a bit of you stretch the resistance bands as far as they go (see photo). Another conundrum for the engineering team!

Love these gloves. Very comfortable, the resistance bands on the fingers give it a pleasant feeling while still training my hand strength. I love the look of them, very fashionable.
I've worn them to the gym, for long drives, and during my regular work day. I've recommended these to friends and family.

I’ve been having joint pain in my hands and my doctor recommended these MetaFlex gloves. Each finger is adjustable which puts these way ahead of any other gloves I’ve seen. They are so comfortable and supportive and I’m finally getting some relief.

The MetaFlex gloves helped reduce the vibrations from my mower. The rubber coatings on the palms and fingers helps with my grip too!

Beautiful concept. I use right glove only. After 7 nights (roughly 50 hours), the elastic bands are compromised. I will glue Velcro to closer to top of wrist, as wrist slides up, and extend original elastic to tighten. Too expensive. Instead of selling ONLY PAIRS, company should sell singles. My left glove is superfluous.

The Metaflex gloves are such a simple concept, yet they work so well. I've worn mine every single night since receiving them, and they do a great job of keeping my hands and fingers straightened out at night. No more curling my hands into tight little balls when I sleep, and my morning arthritis hand pain is down a good 90%. I highly recommend Metaflex gloves!

Great product. Helps me a lot. Got a pinched nerve in my neck. Now my left hand does not work so it helps my hand.

I feel foolish for not realizing that, once you put on the first glove, you cannot put on the second! Your fingers are tightly locked into a non-use position. Fit was true. Good quality product that seems to work. Time will tell. I’ll continue to use them. Must be dealt with to use the restroom. Hard to fumble with in the dark, though. Maybe only use one glove at a time?

I dislocated one of my fingers a few years ago, and I tend to wake up with it out of joint. I was hoping to find something that would keep my finger straight while I sleep. MetaFlex Original Gloves were exactly what I needed. The gloves are very comfortable as well as adjustable. You can adjust the fingers as well. My hands feel great in the mornings now.
